All of us hate our jobs (go figure, being part of this tribe) ... my question is this: in a perfect world, what *would* your ideal job be? (Winning the lotto and retiring at 28 doesn't count. That would be wonderful though!)
I'll start: teaching dance full time. Making enough money performing that I could support myself and have some left over for fun stuff.

Re: Speaking of fulfillment ...
Fri, March 19, 2004 - 10:50 AMGood question.
Something I didn't have to do 40 plus hours a week. At that rate, you get burned out even if you really love your work. Something that was flexible enough that if I wanted to stay home a morning it wouldn't matter. Something that I would get paid for my work and not for the number of hours I sit at my desk. What that job is, I'm not really sure. -

Fri, March 19, 2004 - 10:55 AMOoooh, a fantasy job of mine would be restaurant critic. I also like the travel writer idea. -
