do you ever walk into work, and as soon as you do, instantly feel the tension of every other person in the entire place?

the instinct to hide and lock yourself in somewhere takes over, but you can still hear someone blowing their top from behind closed doors?

i have one of those every few weeks. today was one of those "i just walked into the mouth of madness" days. it's not even noon yet.

Ah yes! Having one of those days right now! My stupid coworker is not doing his job, and I'm getting the heat for it!

Luckily for me, I've got only 3 more hours to survive!

Maybe I should go get lost in the supply closet...

i worked in "market research" when i was in college for let's see, about 2 weeks. the kind of abuse i got despite not selling anything was similar to the kind telemarketers get from what i understand....

at least it was the kind of job where everyone was hating it together, so no one seemed to last too long, and you didn't take it home with you!!

now i work for a place where the managing partners are constantly fighting and playing manipulative games. world war 3 might start here this week for all i know!! there's more drama than all my children, that's for damn sure ;)
