I've been surviving quite well since I quit my job. The biggest thing you sacrifice when you leave a job is security. I've been doing random things, like helping a friend paint, doing a bit of free-lance data entry, babysiting, etc. whenever I need some cash. It's working out. I haven't been able to save any money since I'm just making enough to get by, but I have been able to take week long camping trips without having to worry about being back home by Monday or any specific date for that matter. For me, right now, that freedom is worth every bit of false security that my boring-ass job had provided me.


And, no offense Richard, but your demeanor (or maybe it's the tie) seems to be making my pyramid scheme detector go off. I do hope it's a malfunction.
