Let me give you some background.
I share an office with four other people. My computer moniter faces away from the door towards my co-worker's desk (who we will call Amy) in the cornor. Today, everyone is gone to different meetings, so I am here by myself. Or at least, I should be. But whenever Amy is gone, my stupid boss comes in sits her fat ass in Amy's desk and stays there all day.
So, I have to attempt to make my normal four hours of actual work a day take up eight whole hours, which is very difficult. I am forced to check tribe only when she leaves the office or when she is on the phone. And games are out of the question. To make matters worse, I look over at her, and she is checking the American Idol web page. Plus, she is a bitch. No management skills whatsoever. Hell, she doesn't even have any people skills. Thank God, she finally went to lunch so I have a whole half hour of peace.
I'm trying to get up the nerve to tell her to go away, but I'm not sure how to do it. I'm thinking of telling her something about how I enjoy being in the office by myself, and it doesn't happen too often, and she is spoiling it. What do you think?

Thu, March 18, 2004 - 9:37 AMgo to the joke shop and get something that lets out artificial farts, then the next time she plants herself in your office mention to her "in confidence" that you have irritable bowel syndrome which causes a lot of gas and you are SO embarrassed but please excuse you if you "let loose" then give her a taste and let out the odor >;) she'll feel bad for you and never want to be in the same room. :D he, he, he

Re: My stupid boss won't get out of my office!!!!
Thu, March 18, 2004 - 10:13 AMWow, sounds soooo familiar! I share an office with 4 people, one of them being my boss! Argh! I feel your pain.
Oh yeah, and one of my coworkers does have a gas problem. She farts all the time. It's kinda weird, but it gives us something to laugh at. And I'll let out nasty burps. It lightens up the room, but I don't think the boss lady appreciates it. I should eat some nasty ass food, and let out a huge stinker and blame my coworker!
